Midde Song

Here's my newest music piece that's on soundcloud. I'm not that fond of it, for I was having a difficult time creating my own beat, but here it is. Please don't hate it tooo much.

Music Score Movie

My movie has the music begin right as the pencil touches the paper. The transitions between different angles are also pretty nice, with how it fades in and out and how it moves between shots smoothly. The music in the movie goes well with the score itself, in my opinion, for when I look at the drawing I can see it in some art show or something with music in the background that is very similar to the music in the movie. Also, the title of the piece is in there for the perfect amount of time-not too long, not too short, but in there for just the right amount of time for the viewer to know what he or she is watching. The length of the movie also isn't too long. It is just long enough to keep the viewer interested until the ending.
I think the music goes well with the score. The beat along with the bubble sound fits with the drawing because it's just smooth and relaxing enough to go along with the score, which looks calming for the smooth lines that make up the design. With the rest of the description, my last blog post seems, in my opinion, to describe the score very well, so please read my last blog post as well.

Music Score

As I was drawing my music score, I was just trying to be creative. As I was penciling in the spiral, I just started to branch out and so that created te spiral, the star, the orb, and the shape on the corners. If I think about it, the score could be a really complicated floor plan for a palace or for a safe so that a secret treasure could be very difficult to be found and stolen. The spiral also kind of looks like the inside of a shell. Perhaps since everything is connected in a complicated fashion, it could have been a subconscience way to try and connect the important things in my life that are difficult to put together at the moment, such as school, love, parents, and friends? Also, the dotted lines could be an attempt to put together a road map to the easiest and best way to cement these four things together, but the lines are not present in the whole score because that road map is not completed yet.

Saturday's Music

A couple of posts ago, I was talking about the type of music I was listening to because of the rain this past Saturday, and this is the type of music I love listening to when it's raining outside, or just in general. Pretending to be an awesome tour guide; sit back, relax, and enjoy.

The Boss

Bruce Springsteen is one of my favorite musicians of all time. My favorite song, Born to Run, and his album he released shortly after 9/11, The Rising, is frequently played on my iPod. I found this article in the New York Times, and I thought it was one worth taking a look at. If you have a chance, I hope you enjoy it. http://topics.nytimes.com/top/reference/timestopics/people/s/bruce_springsteen/index.html

Storage of Music

I was browsing the web, began reading this article, and it's interesting to think that CDs are still being used, since now most of todays music is being purchased or downloaded online. It's all about the iPod today. Here's the article, so I hope you check it out.

Music Articles

"Kids can appreciate their parents' taste in books, their parents' taste in people, and their parents' taste in food.  What no adolescent can appreciate, however, is their parents' taste in music." This is so true. However, I'm the type of kid who enjoys all type of music, and I love the music from my parents, and grandparents, generation, such as swing music and Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong and Louis Prima, and in relation to this article, Johnny Cash. I was looking up music articles, and this one caught my fancy, so please take a quick look. http://www.articlesofnote.com/johnny-cash-music.php
